Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01

Day 1: Casablanca - Fez (4-hour drive)

Explore Fez a UNESCO World Heritage Site

After breakfast, depart for the imperial city of Fez. The afternoon program includes a guided tour to explore Fez, the historic medina (old city) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include a visit to the Bou Inania Madrasa via Bab Boujloud, the main entrance to the medina,and demonstrations of traditional leather tanning and Moroccan pottery making. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional riad in Fez.

Day 02

Day 2: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz Valley - Merzouga (7 hours by car)

Day 03

Day 03: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Skoura Oasis (5 Hours Drive)

After exploring the gorge, travel onward to the peaceful Skoura Oasis, known for its palm groves and historic kasbahs. Dinner and overnight in a charming kasbah or boutique hotel.

Day 04

Day 04: Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (6 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and oasis landscapes to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and a major film-making location. Visit the famous cinema studios before continuing to the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. After exploring the kasbah, cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains en route to Marrakech. Arrival in the evening. Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel in Marrakech.

Day 05

Day 5: Guided tour of Marrakech and return home
