Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Errachidia & Transfer to Erfoud
Upon your arrival at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport (ERH) in Errachidia, you will be greeted by your private driver. Travel south to Erfoud, a town renowned as the gateway to the Sahara and famous for its unique fossil workshops. Spend the afternoon visiting local fossil galleries or exploring the desert landscape. Overnight in a boutique hotel or guesthouse in Erfoud or Merzouga.
Day 02: Erfoud to Merzouga & Sahara Desert Exploration
Depart for the desert village of Merzouga. Spend the day exploring the surrounding Erg Chebbi dunes, including a visit to the village of Khamlia to experience traditional Gnawa music. In the late afternoon, embark on a guided camel trek across the golden dunes to witness the desert sunset. Day 03: Merzouga to Fes via Ziz Valley & Middle Atlas
