Our expedition begins with a sunrise departure from Fes, ascending into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We first encounter Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Morocco," and the ancient cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary Macaques. We traverse the Ziz Valley, home to the largest date palm oasis in the world. By late afternoon, we reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Trade your vehicle for a camel caravan to trek deep into the dunes at sunset. Conclude your day at our exclusive Sahara Luxury Camp with a traditional dinner and nomadic drum music under a canopy of stars.

The Return of the Nomad: Sunrise Over the Erg – Sijilmassa Ruins – Middle Atlas – Fes

Wake before the world does to witness the ethereal Saharan sunrise. Following a refreshing breakfast and shower at the camp, we begin our journey back through the Tafilalet region, exploring 18th-century Ksours and the haunting ruins of Sijilmassa. We wind back through the dramatic Ziz Gorges and the Middle Atlas, offering a final chance to breathe the crisp mountain air and hand-feed the forest monkeys before our early evening arrival in Fes.
